Happy St David’s Day and happy pancake day. I start with the spread betters and Russian stocks notably Petropavlovsk (POG), Eurasia (EUA) and Polymetal (POLY). Then I look in detail at MGC Pharmaceiticals (MXC), how it legged over investors in November and is a massive short even now before turning to Vast Resources (VAST), Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), Cellular Goods (CBX),Novacyt (NCYT) and Avacta (AVCT) my big sector short which has seen its shares collapse to 46p but could easily halve again within weeks.

The pizza Hard man Darren Atwater says that my pancakes look all wrong. That is because he is from Canada so wants big fat fluffy pancakes drowning in maple syrup which is how the folks of North America aim to take obesity rates all the way up to 100%. Back in the old world we prefer thin crepes which can be tossed in the pan.

Back to shares and I discuss what is real asset backing and what is it worth with relation to Allied Minds (ALM) and Cambian (CMBN) and a piss poor trading statement from Tungsten (TUNG). I express some displeasure with MX Oil (MXO), now off any buy list, and then move onto Servision (SEV) which is heading to where Motive TV (MTV) is now - off another 50% at 0.00p
